Random Babbling

gonna try to get back to my blogging…have been sick since 2 days before Thanksgiving….ugh…swine flu…not fun….wears you OUT!  i know i had alot i was going to write about, and now that i’m here i cant think of a thing to say….grrr….

…celebrating with my love :)  Went to see BlindSide with Sandra Bullock….very good movie…and remember why I dont go to the movie theatre on Friday evenings…YIKES…Twilight New Moon opened the same night, and 3 screens at the Majestic were showing it…the place was over-fun with teenage girls (and many of the moms!!  lol)…even BlindSide was a full theatre.  Had a new experience at the theatre….they have a pizza place inside, so we got there in time to order the pizza, and then they gave us one of those little pager/buzzers….just as the movie started the pizza was done.  was interesting trying to balance a large pizza between the 2 of us, in the dark and watch the movie, and have soda!  haha…but of course we managed…but the pizza, definitely not worth the $17.  Saturday night we went to Porticello’s (http://www.jsonline.com/features/dining/32654489.html) on Silver Lake (Dave had gotten a gift certificate for his birthday from my mom…)  Beautiful place, but had a not so good martini…Food was YUMMMMO!  LOL…Dave doesnt have too much to drink often, but between the Gin Martini before dinner, a glass of Pinot Noir with dinner, and a Gin and Tonic at Todd’s after….he was feeling no pain….and lots of fun :)

Sunday we slept in…then got up, took a drive over to mom’s to drop off mucinex and chapstick (she’s very sick….bronchitis, sinusitis, and pneumonia!). Then went to Dave’s folks house to watch the Packer game on their new 58” TV set.  Left at halftime to go to Todd’s, didnt win the pool :(  Back to Dave and Louise’s, steak on the grill…yummy :)

Was a truly wonderful weekend:)

Wow….unbelievable…this weekend is one year since I met Dave!  We have only been apart one day since that first day!  WOW!  This time last year I never would have believed I would meet the Love of My Life that weekend…and be married to him in less than a year!  The best thing that has happened to me :)  I’ve never felt so loved and adored in my life!  It’s a pretty incredible feeling to be loved by someone as much as I love them.  There have been alot of changes and adjustments to make (and many more to come, I’m sure), and I dont always handle it very well….but I wouldnt change anything that’s happened this last year…it’s been a wonderful time.  (…and hopefully many many more years to come:) We have done lots of fun things, and gone on so many little “trips” I cant keep track anymore!

the ribs I was craving last night ended up not being so great…the first few times we went for the Wednesday night rib special at the Waterfront, I was amazed at how wonderfully tasty and tender they were, but the last few times….not so great….disappointed….oh well…

been feeling out of sorts for the last few days…dont know why…I have no motivation to do anything (especially work….I really need some time off….)…but really need to snap out of it….thankfully I am married to a wonderully patient and loving man :)

…what this blog is going to be about…and I want to try not to get repetitive between Facebook statuses/etc and here…this is just another thing for me to get addicted to and take my time away from things I SHOULD be doing!  hahaha

tonight we are going to the Waterfront in Pewaukee for $3 a pound ribs….YUMMMMO!!  They are delish if you get there early enough…and home made potato chips too….soooooo soooo good….mmmm…I’m HUNGRY :)

Today is Dave’s birthday….I love giving surprises!!  :)

…but I’m sure I will figure it out.
